I was recently renting at Vegas Towers while attending UNLV. All was well until I left and requested my deposit money. Now I realize that apartment complexes are notorious for finding ways to keep the deposit. However what ensued was over the top. The apartment complex did not send the check to my home as requested. Rather they sent it to the apartment address. We all know, because I was not residing there anymore, the check would not get to me. Now the apartment company wants to charge an extra $25 for writing another check. To compound things much more, they refused to send it to my house but to where I am currently living for the next few months in another country half way around the planet. I find this totally ridiculous. Don't you agree?
My father asked Trudy, the woman in the leasing office in Las Vegas, to speak to her superior which turns out to be in Ohio. Trudy stated repeatedly that no one above her with more authority is available to discuss this ludicrous situation with me.
In short, I highly recommend that you should not use Vegas Towers due to their questionable business practices.
