I wanted a bluetooth system in my older car so I could talk on the phone, play music, listen to podcasts, and stuff on flash drives etc and that was under $200. The guy behind the counter (owner?) showed me a couple of units and said he thought the Pioneer 6800 would be best for what I wanted. Sounded good to me and within a bit over 30 minutes, it was installed and I was driving home listening to the playlists off my phone. I was impressed with the speed of the work, and the unit was easy to setup and I was very pleased.
Short after that I started having problems with the AC in the car... the cold air was only coming out of two small vents on the side and in the back of the center console... nothing from the main vents. I began to wonder if maybe something got disconnected or bumped around during the install of the audio system. I talked with my mechanic and he said it is possible and I should check with the guys who did the install, because if that was not the case it would probably be a $400 - $500 repair.
I went to the stereo shop and asked if they could look and see if anything could have happened during the install. They said they doubted it very much, but would take a look and that I could see how the installation is done and that there is no real under the dast work required to put a new radio in. They showed me and they were absolutely right. The only thing from the AC that they would even see is one plug and there is only one way it can go in the AC controller.
They were always very nice and cordial and wasted no time looking into my issue. I appreciated how quickly they responded.
This is the type of service you like to see from a business. Definitely 5 star service and they gave me a great product.
I feel confident to recommend them for car stereo work.
