| - I have used various other carpet cleaning companies throughout the years, and I really don't think Zerorez is any better/worse than the others. The only issues that I was disappointed with:
1) We have a dog. He's never used the carpet as a toilet, but he lays on the carpet and his dirtiness/dirty oils from his coat rub onto the carpet leaving a stinky dog smell. The tech said there was not too much he could do about it, other than maybe "lock" the smell into the carpet with an additional green chemical treatment. I opted not to do that, because it just seems weird. Why have the carpets cleaned & refreshed, just to lock the smell into the carpet? Is there not a deodorizer option available? So, of course as the carpets dried, it smelled like wet dog in the room. Once the carpets were completely dry (which was overnight in our case), I smelled the carpets....yep, distinct "dog smell."
2) The technician left water spots on the tile as he was maneuvering the hoses throughout the house. And, I don't mean little tiny droplets of water, these were puddles. Apparently, they were left there for me to clean up, although I had just cleaned my tile floors the day before. :(
I was happy to hear that my normally "oversized rooms" (to other carpet cleaning companies) were not oversized to Zerorez.
Overall, would I recommend Zerorez? Probably not. Would I use Zerorez again? Probably not. Like I said, Zerorez was okay, but not any better than anyone else.
The dog smell issue was kind of a deal breaker for me.
