  • This place is still amazing. I am writing this as an update. I have been coming here for almost 3 years and it still never gets old. I just wanted to mention the new roaster. They roast their own COFFEE!!!!!!!!! This is such an amazing thing for a small coffee shop to have. It is such a creative niche. The quality of their coffee is the best in Charlotte. HAND DOWN!!!!. My favorite still is the dirty chai. I would like to mention something weird about this place which makes it very special. I applied to work here right before the DNC, and I got past the first interview. They told me that I would have to sign a contract that I would be able to work for at least a year in order to get the job. Due to being a college student, I couldn't get tied down for a year, but I love that they want their employees to stay for at least a year so that they gain a bond with the customers. I would love to work for a company/business like this in the future. There is also talk about getting their own bakery area. They are going to make all their baked goods in house. This place is going to be around for a long time.
