  • Let me start by saying that I love Cafe Monte! Their food is so delicious! The service is generally great as well, but the most recent visit was mostly unpleasant. We attempted to redeem a dinner groupon (30 dollar value) for lunch (I completely overlooked that!) and even after speaking with the manager he still wouldn't budge to make an exception (our ticket was $30 before tax and gratuity). While I understand that there are policies in place etc, I was mostly displeased that they would haggle over a few dollars. And while this situation was mostly my oversight, the entire ordeal left me with a poor impression of their customer service. I always highly recommend Cafe Monte to my friends and it is my favorite place in southpark, but this incident definitely dampened my enthusiasm about eating there or recommending it to others. PS. I received a personal message from the owner with an apology after I posted the above review! I was blown away and gladly changed my stars from 2 to 5! Thank you Monte!! We will be back =)
