  • I love this place. Cheap prices, casual atmosphere, and even at its most crowded, the lines aren't ridiculous and I've rarely (if ever) had to sit elbow-to-elbow with strangers. Not to mention its got a great mom and pop feel, which is unheard of when it comes to cinemas. My only complaint isn't much of a complaint, really. It being a small, cheap theater, most movies dont show up there until shortly before they come out on DVD, if they get played there at all. So if you're the type that likes to see that big movie on opening night in super-duper hi-spec surround sound, etc. This theater probably isn't for you. Occasionally there will be those movies that I MUST see, in which case I usually shell out the cash and go to one of the big theatres. If you're like me, Canyon Meadows will suit you just fine. I like being able to casually go to a movie without having to plan my entire evening (and paycheck) around it. I like not being in cram-packed crowded spaces. Hell, sometimes I don't even care what movie I go see. Simply put: Its laid back and inexpensive.
