  • I had a really good experience here before with yarma who is a total angel but after my second trip here, I will not be coming back or recommending this salon to anyone. I came in specifically asking for gel shellac ($15) knowing that removal of my old nails would be $5-$10. I then proceeded to go to the salon with only $40 since it should cover tip, gel shellac and etc. When I got there, I told the man at the counter I wanted just gel shellac. I saw a poster on the wall that said nail extensions will be an extra $5 for full set, refill or regular manicure. I told my manicurist that I wanted gel shellac ($15), removal ($10) and nail extension ($5) which would be $30 + $10 for tip. She confirmed that I wanted gel shellac and extensions and let me choose the my colour and everything. When i finished, she hit me with a $75 bill. I was in shock. Apparently she applied bio gel on my nails ($60), nail extension ($5) and removal ($10). That's more than double what I was planning to spend and I specifically asked for gel shellac and she nodded everytime. She never told me that she was applying bio gel on my nails .... And then proceeded to get mad and yell at me in the salon. That is beyond unprofessional and then man at the counter who I believe was the manager, understood where I was coming from and I handed him the $40 I brought and left. My nails are also still sheer and extremely thick with bubbles in them. I can't believe a salon can be so unethical and trick people into spending more money. It's a shame because I really liked yarma but there are plenty of nail salons in the area and I'm sure that they'll tell me the cost before sticking me with a near $100 bill for solid colour nails. She didn't even put cuticle oil on my nails like how yarma did .... I don't recommend coming here and if you MUST come here, please ask about the pricing before proceeding. It is incredibly embarrassing when you get yelled at by your manicurist infront of a full salon.
