  • Service department was excellent. I purchased a 2012 Dodge Challenger at Desert 215 Superstore and have had it in there for A/C, auto window and manual gear shift issues. They have issues diagnosing problems there. Three times for A/C and twice for gears grinding. Last time they said I needed a new clutch....not covered under extended warranty. $2400. Took it to an independent mechanic and he explained there was nothing wrong with the clutch. ..there was a bolt missing from the gear shifter. He put one on, but two days later I had issues with gears grinding again. Decided to try another Dodge dealership to see if the problem could be located and covered under warranty. My Service Advisor Kelly and the technician Shawn were amazing. Shawn pinpointed the problem to a plate and another specialized bolt for the shifter that had not been replaced correctly at Desert 215. Kelly called warranty to find out why they weren't going to cover the costs. She went above and beyond and was able to get them to cover all but $200 of the $900 cost of repairs. Car now runs like it was purchased brand new. Thank you Kelly and Shawn!
