  • What an excellent restaurant, the menu is basically unlimited. The NY strip was beyond perfect and excellent quality. The setting I compare to any 5 star steakhouse, the server was excellent. Just a week ago we visited Ruth Chris, the total meal for basically the same items we ordered at Old Stone was almost four times the price although the quality of the food at Old Stone seemed superior. If I could change a few things, my beer wasn't as cold as I would have expected, not a huge deal, it was pouring rain outside, not like anyone can control that, lastly they are and maybe it's a good thing, not as close to my home as I would like, if they where I probably would eat there all the time. The location in Belmont is a real surprise, such a small town having a restaurant of this quality made me realize it's worth checking out more small towns in the area. Will we be back, you can bet on it. If you are not sure or on the fence, read all of the reviews, Old Stone lives up to all the excellent comments and you would be missing out if you didn't go enjoy.
