| - After being a customer of Acura North Scottsdale for more than 10 years, when my previous lease expired, a good friend recommended that I give Acura Peoria a chance. I worked with Darren, who was great to work with! However, after a number of issues with getting the final paperwork completed, receiving past due notices from AHFS on the prior lease that was supposed to have been taken care of, not getting calls or emails back from upper management, I am still, 3 months later, trying to get Acura of Peoria to take care of the items they said they would take care of and now my credit is at risk because they have not. I have never, in my 10 years with Acura North Scottsdale, been subject to such a mess of issues, dealt with so many different people, who never seem to make the customer a priority and don't call back or follow up. They might have saved me $25/month on a payment, but it has not been worth it. I should have stayed with North Scottsdale, where the service has always been top notch and as the customer had always been made to feel important.
I love the Acura brand and intend to stay with it for another 10+ years, but given this first experience, it will be my last with Acura of Peoria.
UPDATE - I first started this review May of 2016, after purchasing my car in February of 2016. I never finished it and it just popped up to complete. At first I thought I would just delete, but then decided if it helped even one person stay away, it needed to be posted. Because my problems only got worse! It took me posting a negative review on FaceBook (same review as above) to finally get someone to contact me back last year. I was assured that my credit would not get dinged because they would work with Acura Financial, yet a week later, I got a notification my credit rating had changed because I was listed delinquent on payments - on the car I traded in to Peoria months prior! My temp plates expired and I had still not received my new plates, so they had to send me another temp plate. I had to take my new car into have work because there was damage when I picked it up (brand new), which I was fine with having them fix, but I had my 2 year old son with me, dropping off at 7 AM. The service person wasn't even in yet I was supposed to see, then she told me that the car they had for me was given to another customer, so they had to go put gas in another one for me, while my son and I waiting in the parking lot for more than 20 minutes.
Even more frustrating, over the past year, I have been contacted at least 5 times by someone from this dealership trying to get me to bring my car in for my "free first service" and even a sales guy called once. I told all of them, each time, how rotten of a place I thought it was and I would never come back - but they keep calling!! The last call was not even 2 months ago. Make notes in account people! Stop harassing customers who want nothing to do with you. I took and paid full price, for my first service at Acura Scottsdale. Where I will continue to bring my vehicle for service, because they are amazing, literally, when compared to Acura of Peoria.
