Worst delivery experience ever! Was 3 hours late with no phone call or email advising of a delay. The delivery service gave a 3 hour window, my items arrived 3 hours after that window. During that time I called customer service twice; both times the rep was extremely apologetic and very nice but said they were unable to contact the drivers, therefore I was stuck waiting blindly with no time frame . Given the time of year, I would have understood a delay and been completely fine with it if it had been communicated to me. When the drivers finally showed up they made me go downstairs to let them into my condo building ( despite them having the buzzer code).
They left my boxes ( a dresser and a nightstand) in the boxes. And proceeded to insist I sign the papers stating that the items were received in good condition... they refused to open the boxes or to allow me to open them before I signed the delivery slip... how would I know the condition of the items when they were still in boxes and not taken out yet?? Furthermore how would I know if the items were what I ordered?? Bottom line, I will never shop at this brick location again. I'll be leery to shop at any Brick for quite some time.
It's a shame because I was all set to give a rave review based off the service I received from the sales person in store. The negative error of comedies with the delivery ruined the experience for me.
