  • I got promotion letter from the bank, saying if I opened up a home equity line I could get good rate as well as $100 home depot gift card. While the line was in the opening process, I asked my loan representative when I could receive the gift card, she told me 4-6 weeks after the account creation. 9 weeks passed since my account was opened and the gift card is nowhere. I called the bank, they now made excuse saying that the loan was opened from a different address than the letter, and a request was submitted to another department for review so a gift card could be sent. More than one week passed since the call and nothing happened. The excuse they used is a lie, basically the bank runs their promotion in an dishonest way to not honor their promotion, what a shame!
