  • Stay away! I purchased a brisket a couple of years ago that was $49 on the sticker. When I payed for it, the owner (Vic) said it was $61. When I asked, he said "Sales Tax". It was Friday afternoon, I was in a hurry, and just paid and left. About half way home, I realized I paid over 20% for said tax. Given the time of day and not wanting to fight Friday traffic, I just continued home. Since then, I haven't been back. I don't appreciate being lied to and taken advantage of. It turns out that I'm glad I haven't been back. I've come to learn as many others have found out that Vic buys his meat at Sam's and sells it as local. His chicken is Tyson, he sells beef as lamb, he sells 25% fat hamburger as 10% fat, all while advertising as local, grass fed, hormone free meat. What a crook!
