  • I do not recommend going to Dignity Health AZ. My sons' big toe looked infected and when I found out our pediatrician closed his doors unexpectedly I turned to Dignity Health so he could be evaluated before the weekend. My son was taken back, toe looked at by their physician, and confirmed it looked infected. The doctor then prescribed an antibiotic that I would pick up from our pharmacy. NO OTHER TREATMENT WAS PERFORMED. I received a bill for $1476.00 with an explanation of "charges". When I called to further inquire the details of this charge I was told "the level of care". I went through the proper channels to submit a dispute with the reasonable argument that the level of care charged was NOT the level of care provided and was offered only a 15% discount. Unacceptable. The physician's charges were $223.00, which I deemed appropriate and paid in full. But $1476.00 charge is absolutely unreasonable, over billing and immoral. Do not feed this money hungry hospital. Seek urgent care elsewhere unless you want to throw away thousands of dollars. I am currently pursuing further action through the media to help with the investigation of this outrageous charge.
