| - I'd give 10 stars for the customer service!
I've finally been able to remove all of my things out of storage- but my stuff was there for, I think, 3 years or so. Gonna do this with a "good vs bad" kinda thing, saving the best for last.
BAD: holy crap is it ever hot in there!!
On an 'indoor' unit- they say it's "climate controlled" not sure which climate they mean, but be prepared to sweat your buns off when our AZ temps are above 70. No kidding. If your trying to organize or find something that is on the very bottom of a stack of furniture (isn't that ALWAYS the way it goes??), it's just awful! Also, I gotta say, the lighting is really bad- the ceiling of the units is like chicken wire and since the whole building in general is poorly lit, you have to bring your things out of the unit to see/inspect them- so whatcha think...bring a fan and a light - sure- go ahead-but there are no electrical sockets in the entire place including the restrooms. Also, the cart that's left in the storage area for people to use is really crappy- handles come off, won't turn and the wheels wobble enough that stuff easily falls off! Pain in my butt! When someone is in the office you can ask them for a good cart- they keep them in there, perhaps there was previous theft issues? Anyway that was the bad part.
GOOD: very clean, good access - a breeze to move stuff in & out if you have one of the good carts that are stored in the office.
Renee is head honcho over there- between her and her day-off girl Jennifer, they really take good care of you, they make attempts to help you save money if you're thinking of changing your unit- always kind and friendly!Sadly, they really have no control of the electrical socket and ac issues I stated. It's a universal Public Storage thing. I'm sure they get a ton of complaints -
If you are just dropping things off and picking up later I guess it's not bad.
