  • I have been dying to try this place since I moved to town. The meat was everything I imagined. I got the double meat plate with 2 orders of ribs (4 ribs total) and bacon potato salad for the side. So delicious! The meat was so tender and full of flavor. It had a beautiful smoke ring on it and the house sauce was a perfect compliment to the rich, smokey meat. The reason I gave 3 stars is because of the cashier. He could not crack a smile if his life depended on it. After the person in front of me was done ordering, I gave him a second to finish up until he called us and was ready to take our order. When he did, he acted like we were the stupid ones for not immediately coming up and bombarding him with our order. It was pure attitude from there. He has zero people skills or manners. No, "thank you," "you're welcome," or "enjoy," from him during the transaction. I don't need someone bursting with energy but at least have basic manners.
