| - I came into town for a long weekend vacation. I needed a haircut, and also wanted a real hot lather shave, as a sort of "Man-spa" experience. The sign out front said Walk-Ins welcome, however, I greater Las Vegas area that could mean s 3 to 4 hour wait.
There were 6 chairs, with a very diverse group of barbers. I was assured by one of the ladies that it wouldn't be long, and that I didn't need to sign in.
When my turn came up (within 5 min on a Saturday mid-day!), a gentleman named Rod welcomed me to his chair. He was nicely dressed, and his beard was meticulously groomed, both very positive signs. I told him what I wanted, and he went to work.
The hair cut and shave were both outstanding. Rod is a very skilled barber, who made the experience even better by explaining everything he was doing beforehand. I also appreciated the conversation, as we chatted about the news of the day, a little bit of politics, the weather, and shaving technology.
When he has through, he handed me his card, so I can be sure to make an appointment with him, which I intend to do every time I come for a visit to Las Vegas.
