  • This place is in a great location in downtown Charlotte. You can pretty much walk to many restaurants and bars in the area. The room was nice but had some issues, which is the reason for 3 stars. While some people complained of noise, I did not experience any. Now this was on a Monday but they did leave some ear plugs, just in case. The toilet in my room never flushed all the way. I was not happy about having to double flush for everything. And every time I turned on the shower, I got hit with freezing water because there was no safe way to turn it on without getting wet. I also was not a huge fan of having to take an elevator up to floor 5, only to turn around and be in the lobby of the hotel to take it up to my room. They had a nice lobby though with a bar in the back and plenty of snacks/drinks for purchase. In all, for the price (I paid $240 for the night), it was a descent night sleep and right around everywhere I wanted to visit.
