Update: As a result of the Yelp posting, the District Manager was alerted regarding my experience. He called me and requested a sit down meeting. He did apologize while on the phone but insisted on meeting in person. i wasn't sure about the necessity of the in person meeting but I agreed.
The meeting took place at the store in question which I appreciated because it displayed transparency rather than appearing to give me lip service in the shadows.
I was able to vent and give my perspective on the events that took place. The D.M. took ownership of the business mishaps and acknowledged a need to implement changes to address this preventable situation.
Without getting into the fine details, the situation was a direct result of miscommunication, non-communication, and (my opinion only) poor on-site management. Not as a result of my situation; but that manager has since been be relocated.
