| - The space is very quaint (translated small) with exposed brick walls. Menu options include pizza, salads, panini sandwiches, and pasta. Note, no alcohol on the menu but I've read in other reviews that it's a BYOB kinda place.
I ordered the Margherita pizza (tomatoes and mozzarella) while my husband ordered the Piccante pizza (sausage and hot peppers).
While I appreciate the wood-fired oven thin crust, I must take issue with the Margherita pizza. Yes, it advertised crushed tomatoes. I guess my brain didn't translate what that meant, though -- basically, a cheese pizza. Oh, and basil? That, you had to order as an extra for $1.00. Am I not correct that by definition the Margherita pizza comes with basil??? Add injury to insult, there was about one sprig of basil per slice. Personally, I want my Margeherita pizza to come with sliced tomatoes and more basil (included in the base offerings). So, hmmfph.
Also, as a side note, I needed to ask if they took reservations for a future engagement. Per the server, they do for parties from 5 to 8 people. It's a small venue so fair enough.
Will I be back? Maybe, but I'll definitely try something other than pizza.
