| - The Last Straw Ale House. Well, that's quite a mouthful. Herein referred to simply as 'Tuscany Pub,' which is what I know it as among my friends. Having a couple of friends who live in Tuscany, there isn't much else to choose from if you don't want to venture far from home.
I suppose that's why it's a somewhat good pub to go to. I mean, the food isn't really that great. I tried the "Straw Burger" with mushrooms, bacon and cheese, but I was sad to find that my mushrooms were' cooked through and the bacon was very cold. The bun itself was a little crunchy too. Needless to say, I didn't finish it all.
Not only that, but I think that, since they're the only pub close by, they may overcharge you. I mean, a bottle of Jackson Triggs Merlot for $46? Talk about a 100% mark-up. And almost $14 for a chicken sandwich. Perhaps I'll just stick with my beer at the Tuscany Pub.
I know the locals of Tuscany don't have much to choose from, so Tuscany Pub really is a locals place. I'd probably go there lots too if I had nowhere else to visit. Poor people of Tuscany... I feel for you!
