I've tried macarons all over the city and thought this place was cute when i walked in. They don't actually make the macarons here, they are shipped from the U.S. and are "assembled" here. The dark haired woman is the owner's wife. She lacks people skills and should not be behind the counter. They usually have students working for them who aren't too knowledgeable about what they sell or the ingredients used. There is a decent flavour selection, however, the macarons are not fresh, so by selecting a few, you will often come across some that are hard rather than the soft texture that a macaron should be and this is a result of them not being stored correctly or being stale. I have rarely seen anyone in there so I can't imagine they go through their shipped batches of macarons too quickly, leaving the batches to become hard and stale until their next shipment.
