This review is based off of my only experience here late on a Saturday night. I think it may have a different atmosphere the other nights of the week, or earlier in the day.
My girlfriends and I generally go to San Diego to have a night out, and let our hair down. We thought going to Old Town Scottsdale would be a nice switch up. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the places recommended by hotel staff. So we started walking back to our hotel way earlier than we initially wanted to. We passed Firehouse on our way, and decided to pop in as a last ditch effort to save the night. I'm so glad that we did! There was a line, but it was less than 5 minutes. Guys checking IDs were nice. It was packed. Despite how busy it was, you could get a drink pretty fast, and the bartenders are generous. The music was mostly hip hop/top 40's and the DJ did an amazing job. There were two bars, and the only time we left the dancefloor was to slip to the bar in the back for a drink. The other patrons were polite, and fun. No lack of people offering to take a group photo or two for us. The dancefloor did get hot. The bathrooms were a bit of a mess, but manageable.
