| - This is not so much a hotel as it is a night club that happens to rent rooms. The room was fine, although the key card barely worked, the door to the bathroom got stuck, and the auto setting on the A/C didn't work. Every night the hotel turns into a club, complete with hordes of smokers lining up, blocking the entrance to the hotel--and all the noise that comes with such a scene. And it was so. Much. Noise. So much noise that I couldn't get to sleep before 2 or 3 a.m. every night of my stay--Friday, Saturday, even Sunday. And when I phoned the front desk to ask when the Sunday-night party might end, the person who answered seemed bewildered that I had heard any racket, promised that security would look into it, and hung up. The noise continued. Honestly, they should not rent rooms on Wellington. The windows are too cheap to block the noise. On the fifth floor I could make out conversations, to say nothing of the screaming, muscle-car-engine revving, honking, etc. Truly a nightmare experience. Oh and also one of the two guest elevators didn't work during my stay, which made for a 10-15 minute trip to my room when returning from dinner.
