  • I also went to this salon with a groupon for mani/ spa pedis. I purchased the three pack for a greater savings and only paid $25/visit total. My first trip there I received a decent mani/pedi, not perfect, but worth the usual going price on their board which at the time was $57. The second time I returned the going price had been raised to $79. I should have asked for the same girl. Instead I had a woman who on my spa pedicure I had to ask to have my callouses filed and did not buff my nails at all which then left ridges in the final appearance. She hardly applied lotion at all and did a shoty job at best on the cuticles. There were parts of my toenails she totally missed painting and they were chipping within a couple days which is unheard of for my typical pedicures. They looked worse that when I do them myself! As for my 2nd manicure, the lady didn't apply any lotion at all or even touch my hands or arms. When I left I realized my hands looked dry enough to seem like I'd just been cleaning all day instead of just leaving a spa. I asked her to redo a couple of my nails because they looked so bad after she bumped them with her bracelet several times while working. She just tried to glop more paint over the top which was no way going to dry. It was literally forming a drip at the edge of my thumb. I had to ask her to remove it and redo it all together. I realize when writing this that it seems too unbelievable to not be exaggerated... but I am usually very easy to please. The reason I gave this a 2/5 is because the girl I had the first time was very nice and did conscientious work and even though it wasn't the poshest place I've been, my nails looked nice and it was worth the going rate of $57. The second visit was in no way close to worth the new going rate of $79 or the original price of $57! I'm glad I bought these on a groupon and didn't pay those prices. I am going to try to schedule my third and final visit today... After which I will not go back.
