  • Stayed one night on business. Very old hotel. Walking distance from the train station. I arrived here around 8:30pm on Tuesday, and there was only one person in the front desk who was assisting other customer. I waited at least five minutes for the staff to notice me or say anything to me. The customer who had been helped was trying to find a room at other hotels since this hotel was completely full the night. I kept waiting to check in, and the staff finally asked the customer to step aside and assisted me to check in. Waiting 10 minutes for checking in wasn't fun. My check in process was very smooth, which should be anyway, and the staff handed me a key, and I headed to my room. My room was located in the second floor and had a two rooms (a bedroom and a living room). It wasn't very big, but it was a decent size. I opened the bathroom door and was very disappointed. It looked like a public restroom especially a sink. There was a shelf facing the toilet where the towels and amenities were located, but there was no room to put anything by the sink. No bath tub. I wanted to grab dinner before I headed to work, but since the check in process took longer, I left my luggage and went straight to work with a hungry stomach. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast to all guests. I had to head back to the airport in the morning, so I went to have breakfast at 6am. The customer, when I was waiting for check in, told me that their breakfast was amazing, so I was excited for it, but it was very disappointing. They had a few fresh fruits, boiled eggs, oatmeal, a few hot dishes, breads, muffins, and drinks. Plastic cups for cold drink? No grilled? There was really nothing I wanted to eat. I've been to many Hilton hotels, and this breakfast was one of the worst breakfast I've had. I only had two boiled eggs and a piece of grapefruit and left. I decided to take an airport shuttle to the airport. The front desk staff told me it would take EXACTLY 12 minutes to the airport, but it actually took five minutes. I guess it was good that it took less time than they told me. The shuttle left on time. My overall experience was okay. I wish I could have better experience though. The service can be improved. I will probably stay at other hotel next time to see how good/bad the customer service is. If this is normal, I may come back here.
