| - Incroyable! Luckily everyone at this spa is bilingual and didn't have to suffer through me trying to speak en Francais.) This spa is truly a memorable experience, not to be missed. Retrofit from an old ferry boat with stunning modern design, this spa includes tons of little hang out areas (many where you literally hang in macrame chairs or on hammocks) or in comfy bean bags in a cloud of incense. You can even head to one of the quiet rooms and sit in the large portholes overlooking the water and Habitat 67. The view from the sauna on the other side is all downtown, all day - gorgeous! Or from the side patio (where you can grab a glass of wine), it's the water, where pleasure boats pass ducks and jumping fish and one giant ship circled by, filled with partying grad kids. We counted three saunas, two aromatherapy steam baths, four cold dip pools, and a warm pool and two hot tubs, once you also get into the ones in the attached outdoor space. Wow - and the historic locks that abut the site add to the tranquility with a gorgeous waterfall - broken only by the stunning site of a train passing right by occasionally! We had massages which were good but not mind blowing - not like dinner on the deck, which was! All three dishes were incredible and also reasonably priced. (Plus ordering an entree gets you another hour of soaking time.) If we could go there to eat again as non-spa guests, we would, the chef is brilliant. Loved every minute of our five hours there and can't wait to return. But we will make reservations next time as it's understandably very busy.
