If I had read the reviews on this store I could avoided all the hassles!
I purchased a nice Canadian made sofa from Equilibrium last year and there were misunderstandings from the start. Things only became worse once I experienced a real problem with my sofa.
Instead of telling you about how I was blamed for the problem with the sofa because I did not pay enough - I thought I would include the email chain...

Hi Samantha,
I am writing to share some unfortunate news about the recent purchase of our Josh sofa.
Upon delivery it was discovered that all hardware needed to install the frame was not shipped. This is a disappointing turn of events given the amount of time we waited for manufacture and delivery. In addition, we are concerned about the stability of the sofa, which has been lightly screwed in place... so not to cause damage to the frame...
Please arrange for our issue to be corrected and for completion of installation then, contact us with the date work will be carried out.

I'm not sure what hardware you two purchased but that could be causing the problem. Samantha I'm confused. So, Statum did not ship the hardware because we were not charged the correct amount (for delivery)? Also, we don't deserve complete installation on a $2,000+ purchase?
Since you seem to be saying it's our problem now Statum can contact us at this email address or, leave a message at....

As you can see we were immediately blamed for somehow causing the missing hardware situation. You will notice the owner offered no apology and didn't take ownership over the resolution process.
I can only hope that I do not encounter another problem with my sofa because I can't rely on Equilibrium Furnishings for help.
