| - Descend down the staircase in the middle of Sip Coffee & Beer Garage for an island adventure. You're greeted by a very tropical montage of exotic plants and creative signage featuring wood carvings and intricate detail, this theme continues into the rest of the bar, featuring tiki heads, and orchids in your drinks. If you keep a curious eye out you'll find a new treasure around every corner, the mermaids holding up the tables, hooks under the bar to hold purses, portholes presenting a beautiful view of a virtual ocean, and the list goes on.
It feels somewhere in between being in an I Spy Book: Nautical Edition to being in the Pirates of the Caribbean. And don't worry the rum is not gone. In fact, they have plenty of rum. A majority of their drinks have a rum base. We wanted something with coconut and the bartender recommended "Spoils of War" which was creamy, tasty, and very strong! We also ordered the "Squiffy" which tasted like a banana lime slushie. It was refreshing and crisp.
The atmosphere, attention to detail, concept and execution, cocktail menu, and service were all exceptional. The only negatives were that the prices are a bit steep, the seats wobbled, and the tables are far too small. But overall, it was a great experience!
