District one has a great atmosphere and even greater food. The only downside to this place is the parking. It took me almost 20 minutes to find a parking space due to the limited amount of spaces shared between District One and about ten other restaurants.
The bar has an impressive menu of specialty mixed drinks, beer, and wine. Once our table was ready we ordered the oxtail fries, lemongradd beef, fried calamari, pho, and more. The oxtail was so tender and flavorful that it almost melted in my mouth.
However, I wish the fries were fried slightly longer so that they would be a little more crispy to hold up to all of the oxtail gravy. The beef pho was great, the broth was flavorful and not too salty and there was a good ratio of meat and noodles. Delicious food but next time I come I will make sure to ask for extra crispy fries.
