  • My first 5K was the 2012 Hot Chocolate Run, and I did it again in 2013. The goodie bag is fabulous, the chocolate is wonderful, and it's overall a great event. I did feel like last year's event had more excitement along the route, with live music and such. Also, the parking situation was not good this year. I arrived early and it took 30 minutes to get from the 101 exit to my parking space. Getting out of there took just as long, too. I'll come back next year, but I hope they fix these issues.
