  • I attended a wedding that was organized by Luxe. Myself, and other guests had consistently bad reviews of their service. The travel agent we dealt with was unresponsive and simply not very competent. It wasn't until after we had paid, that we found out that travel insurance was included in the amount and that it wasn't an option to buy our own travel insurance. I only found out that the insurance was included in the amount we were charged by looking at the invoice, not because the agent explained what we were being charged for. Though we were forced to buy their insurance, no information was given as to what the policy number is, or what we are to do in the event of a medical emergency. When we asked if we could have these details, no response was given. Thank goodness we didn't need it on the trip. With the poor service of this company contrasted by the ease of booking travel yourself, it is a wonder that travel agencies still exist.
