  • From the moment you walk into the lobby, you feel a million miles away from the sounds of the casino just down the hallway at Mandalay. Everything about the Delano just feels classy and upscale. Check in took almost no time at all, and we were up in our Scenic Suite shortly afterwards. The suite itself was spacious and modern, with a stunning view of the strip. The half bath by the front door was a feature that seemed a little superfluous at the time, but turned out to be more useful than we thought. The full bath was bright with plenty of counter space (which my wife appreciated). We discovered that the Delano has a pretty fast cab line (we're Mlife platinum, so even if it was a long line it wouldn't matter to us), but if the line at Mandalay is getting long, you might hop over and see the Delano's. Everyone we interacted with was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which seems to be a standard feature in MGM properties these days. The housekeeping staff was very attentive and would quickly get you anything you needed. The Delano is definitely on my short list of places to stay in Vegas.
