  • My area has recently acquired a lot of new Mexican restaurants. This is by far my least favorite. The portions are tiny and not really tasty. The prices are way, way out of proportion. The restaurant seems to be trying for the "upscale market" (the folks who might be willing to pay $10 for two itsy-bitsy tacos. Sadly, while the prices qualify for a "gourmet rating," the food just doesn't. The service, too, is so-so--or was when I visited. Good point--it seems that the place is often so near empty that diners can have a private conversation with no fear of being overheard. Personally, though, I'd choose the public library for a chat and skip this place.
