This very well maintained trail offers something for everyone (hike, bike or run it's your choice). It is a very easy hike with beautiful panoramic views of Lake Mead and surrounding mountains for virtually the entire length of the hike. It's about an 8 mile round trip hike from trailhead at the Alan Bible Visitor's Center parking lot to the Hoover Dam parking lot where the trail ends. Along the way you'll be treated to amazing views of Lake Mead along with a few signs explaining the history of the dam. You will also go through 5 fascinating railroad tunnels which are home to Mexican Free-Trail bats that take up residence in tunnels 1-3 from May to November of each year. Whether you're a local or weekend visitor this trail is well worth the short drive from Las Vegas!
