Hash Hash a No-No.
The hubby had been talking about how wonderful this place was so we finally came in for lunch. We were seated right away, but had the worse table facing the kitchen and a garbage can:( So that doesn't not exactly wet your appetite. I could have waited for a booth, but it's crunch time at lunch time. Strike 1
We had a very friendly waiter. He brought out drinks quickly but my Ice-tea was yucky-strike 2-how do you screw up ice-tea. I asked for a soda in exchange and he promptly exchanged the drink with no problems. Our waiter was super friendly. So five stars for the service.
Kiddo had a grilled cheese, but the cheese was not melted-(strike 3), we took it back, got it back melted. We split the crab cake salad and it was okay, by that I mean it was edible. Not digging the decoration on the plate (dried spaghetti sticks?) I didn't get it. Also on the plate was a hard biscuit that was flavorless-a piece of paper would have tasted better. Very disappointing.
The stand out was the cup of cream corn chowder-this gets five stars, honestly it was sooooo delish!!
I have to agree with other yelpers, the servings are disgustingly huge and so are many of the customers-there were plenty of linebackers at every table. So if you've got a big appetite com here.
Another 5-Star was the jamming tunes-the place had awesome music! Lots of pics on the wall of celebrity guests like Rachel Ray, Martha Stewart, etc. that was cool!
I think I may still come back and give it another try-maybe a new chef is in order.
