My understanding is that Amuse Bouche closed for a while to morph into a larger restaurant with longer hours. Was thinking I might check it out again--as I thought there was also going to be new ownership--until reading most recent reviews. I ate there twice, pre-expansion. Previous incarnation had great food, but it was way too slow in getting to the table. European-style dining is one thing; this was ridiculous. Also, waitstaff was awful. Not especially friendly nor accommodating. Who insists on a "split plate" charge when each of you is ordering a similar meal, and you just want to swap for the other's half sandwich? It was explained that was a house policy, but screw that! That last annoyance was enough to keep me from returning after that visit. Hope ownership decides it wants to keep and grow the clientele because I certainly won't return if these issues are still issues.
