Held my daughters wedding here on this past Memorial Day weekend. This is a nice venue for a wedding that is somewhat reasonable in cost. Location is great being in downtown Chandler and access to many additional restaurants and bars. Good for out of town guests who stay at hotel. Wedding planning and catering were decent although much confusion after wedding in retrieving our wedding props. Table top items and wedding cake decorations. Everything was scattered and communication was very bad. Food pretty decent and wedding hall and outdoor settings were nice.
The real down fall here was the brides mother taking a nasty fall at end of outdoor wedding.ceremony on the exit carpet from the stage. She fell flat on her face in front of whole crowd, badly spraining her ankle and could barely walk afterwards. Extremely embarrassing for her. We had to take her to a medical facility for X-rays fearing a fractured ankle. Was not broken but took a week plus to fully heal.
The problem was a badly designed transition from concrete to grass. Which was hidden under the carpet. High heels are no place for this. Other ladies almost took a dive as well. Including the bride!!
Also disappointing was no follow up by hotel or staff of offering to reimburse medical costs.
Management needs to address this and resolve.
