  • I went for a birthday dinner here with a friend of mine and had a mixed experience. I ordered a beer based upon the recommendation of the server. She said that since the beer was listed as "nitro," it would be smooth and have a light pumpkin flavor. The beer ended up tasting like watered down, light beer. The "Shrooms" burger was satisfactory, however the sautéed onions turned out to make me severely ill. We visited the restaurant on a Sunday night and happened to be the last two left in the dining room around 9:45 when the owner came to our table and curtly asked us to leave. I doubt that I will visit again because he failed to even ask how our meal was or give us warning the establishment was closing; to top it off he made it quite evident as we finished our conversation outside to pop his head out and lock the door (as if we were going to break back in to sit down). I can think of several other locally owned restaurants where the owner would be more than happy to thank me for my patronage.
