| - I was really excited to try this place and after going two times, I'm disappointed. The first time was a Saturday night we sampled a few flavors and I decided on the peppermint chocolate. It was good but the mint overpowered the chocolate. The second time was Sunday afternoon. we stopped in, My mom got the chocolate, sister, the pumpkin spice- very basic and I decided on the whiskey brown butter pecan because the guy behind the counter said it was his favorite and I love butter pecan.
Flavor: Something was seriously off with this, not mixed correctly and you could taste the sugar grains. The texture was really gluey. To the point where I went in and told the staff. And they responded with "yeah someone else mentioned that earlier today." If someone else mentioned that, it would have been nice to know that before I got the ice cream. I understand that this place is new and they make their own ice cream, but if a flavor is off, please alert a customer.
Location: Good location, means they will most likely do well, they don't have a lot of competition. There is street parking, but I'm not sure if you can park in the parking garage attached to the shop. (The shop is located on the bottom level of a apartment/condo building)
It would be helpful to know where you can and can't park.
Price: it's $3.75 for one scoop of ice cream that leaves the bottom of the cup visible. I would get smaller cups just so you don't feel ripped off. I understand this is a local business and dairy can be pricey, but the price, quality and quantity ratio is off.
