A casual weekday lunch was met with a 20 minute wait. Was it worthy? YES!
We did not hesitate and immediately ordered upon seating. I had the spicy tonkotsu with special blend of hot spices. It was graced with cha siu, bamboo shoots, and scallions. The broth was thick and rich with grease. The cha siu came in huge slabs that covered a great portion of the bowl. The ratio of lean and fat was well balanced. My friend had the kuro with black garlic oil. The flavor was peculiar and memorable. It was also slightly heavier than my spicy tonkotsu.
Great food for a cheap price! This will definitely make it to my list for revisiting when I am in the area!
