In search of an Izakaya Resaurant in Las Vegas, *Izakaya Go* popped up and so I thought I'd check this place out. This is located in Chinatown in a shopping center that's not as busy as the other parts of town. The server who helped us that evening was very nice. The food was pretty tasty and everything I ordered was good, as well as the other orders I sampled at our table.
My order:
~Pumpkin Croquettes: MmM!
~Crispy Pork Belly with a side of white rice: delightful :)
~Goma-ae: Boiled Spinach in sesame dressing: great side
The only reason I deducted a star was the weird order of the food coming out. First and foremost my food came out first which was cool, but then no other orders were coming out for a really long time. The orders were coming out at random timing with really long gaps.. so basically we all could not eat at the same time. By the time the ramen came out everybody was done eating except for that last person. That was super sad and strange, I don't understand the back up and it was really awkward to watch the last person eat while we were all done.. it's like the last order was forgotten and never placed to begin with.
Overall, a decent spot, with a great variety.. however just beware of the interesting service. (:
