| - The fella lives in Fort Mill, and I was in the market for a pedicure, so I found Tips & Toes thanks to Yelp. I stopped in after work on a Friday around 5:00, and the woman told me it would just be a few minutes while she finished up a manicure. I quickly realized she's a one-woman show, and it was good thing I got there when I did because they close at 6:00, and no one else had an appointment at 5:00.
The pedicure was spot-on - massage chair, clean utensils, leg massage, heel scrub, $24 - and there was a small TV in the corner along with some magazines by the pedicure chairs. Conversation was great and helped pass the time; the pedicure took about 35-40 minutes.
When I got home, I noticed there was a little polish on the skin around my big toe even though she was pretty thorough with using nail polish remover to get rid of an excess, but it was pretty easy to pick off myself.
I had my work shoes on, and it was nice that she sold flip flops for $1! I just wore the pedicure flips out, but it was a nice touch. I'll be back, and I'll definitely make an appointment. And they do take credit cards... phew.
