  • I'm going back. I'll get that out right off. This was my first experience with chicken and waffles and I was NOT disappointed. I have to agree... the service was a little slow, but when I explained it to other people, I did it like this: "If you just walked into your awesome neighbors house, and said, 'Hey, I'd like you to make me ____for dinner, and they just whipped up with a smile on their face, and you can taste the LOVE in the food...." seriously. Who needs ambiance when you have amazing collard greens? I don't give 2 snorts how the place is decorated or if there are mirrors in the bathroom, because honestly, I don't want to see myself stuffed to the button poppin limit like that, ha! It was clean, the folks in the kitchen were happy to school me with my greens technique... and that cornbread....was like a warm hug at the end of the meal. GO.
