| - I really like this place. I had never travelled into Unionville before, but my girl took me here when we were out driving in the area.
The dining area does seem a tad cramped, but it's nothing to really sneeze at. The noise level is a little above pub-average, but it's tolerable. The staffers were really friendly as well. This will also be completely irrelevant in June, but they had this place beautifully decorated for Christmas. The big and bright Christmas lights snaked along the wood finish of the booths was enough to just make the place totally comfortable. There are also several TVs playing news and sports throughout the place.
My lady ordered the chicken wrap, and I went for the pulled pork sandwich. Hers was very tasty, with a sauce inside that tasted very chicken-wingy, and I think it totally worked. The pulled pork isn't the best I've ever had, but was really damn good. The menu selection also seemed like more than what you'd normally find in a pub, and the prices were all good.
Maybe it was the Christmas decorations, or the cozy small-town feel of Unionville, or the good food, but I really want to return to this place.
