  • I don't know how it is that I haven't yet reviewed Dinette. I have visited maybe a dozen times in the past 3 years. I return not for the Pizza (wood-fired, Real Italian) which is very good, but for the small plates/appetizers, a few of which were MEMORABLE, as in when I eat or see something similar, it is compared to Dinettes version: Potato Salad: unlike anything I've ever had, the salad is room temp with olive oil, greens, sliced egg -- all the ingredients of a potatoes salad without the mayonnaise goop, and with a slice of avocado. Simply inspired! Stuffed and grilled Seshito peppers: served warm with salt and olive oil Mac almonds, oh my!!! Grilled peach: I can't recall if this was served with cheese or not, possibly - but it's the peach itself I recall. Perfectly grilled. Perfect ripeness. Warm. Literal perfection. Soups can sometimes be amazing but often too under seasoned for my personal taste. But I get why they are not. So keep up the good work. People notice your work and appreciate it. Just need more new dishes to add to my flavor memories!
