Color me surprised that Saga has such a poor rating on Yelp. I wasn't blown over "wowed" by Saga, but it wasn't a bad experience at all. I went into this expecting a lot worse than I ended up getting. (If anything, it was the other parties at our table that were woefully disappointing. Not a lick of excitement for fire and shrimp among them.) The "show" put on by our chef was pretty par for what you'll find at any hibachi place around the U.S., and he was even one of the peppier ones that I've seen at that. The food was good, and I paid about what I expected to for steak and scallops. The no-prices-on-the-drink menu situation was a bit sketchy, however. Service was efficient, restaurant seemed clean. Next time I'm craving hibachi grill, I'd like to try a Pittsburgh area restaurant that has a higher rating, just to see if it really is all that much better.
