  • This review is long overdue, and I will be as thorough as possible, as someone who has been staying here for over 2 years. I originally stayed here for a couple weeks almost 20 years ago and remembered having a good experience, so when I relocated to Vegas permanently, I looked them up first, and it was a great decision. I've had great experiences with EVERYONE I've regularly come into contact with. Megan, Lloyd, and Kathy are always helpful, smiley, supportive, and understanding. I can only imagine people who have had bad experiences are not good at communicating. If you have a good attitude, and know how to communicate, the staff will be more than willing to optimize your stay in any way possible. I love the flexibility of being able to pay weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or whatever. If you're late on your rent, just communicate with the staff, and they will be more than happy to work with you (as long as you pay your late fees, which is completely normal and understandable unless you're a sociopath.) They understand that things happen...just keep them in the loop. Pretty obvious stuff, but I have seen people complain about obvious things before. Be respectable, honest, and realistic, and you will not run into any problems, I assure you. The security is equally awesome. Both guards are great, but Bryan is the full time one, so I see him more often, and he is always so helpful. I have also seen him handle a few security issues with nothing but class, integrity, and a calm patience. He knows how to treat people, which is very important when dealing with drunk people on the weekends, I'm sure. He even opens the door for me whenever he's not busy and sees me with my hands full! Maintenance is great, too, and luckily I haven't had to deal with them too often, which is a testament to how well things run here generally. I can't remember the one guy's name...it's a unique name, almost like a last name, but he's always friendly and willing to help whenever I've needed him, too, and when I first got here, I had housekeeping, and they were always quick, clean, and everything you'd expect from a good cleaning crew. The grounds are always well kept. It's actually gotten nicer and nicer since I've been here. The lawn is nicer, and they just repaved the parking lot. I always feel guilty for not spending more time around the pool and stuff, because they take such good care of it, but I'm a bit of a hermit, sue me. I miss the market that used to be right around the corner, but there are a bunch of new food places next door where you can get food quick and reasonably priced. My favorite is Teriyaki Madness, but there is a lot of variety now, and also on the other side of the street next to CVS are some great places. (Go to Dog Haus at once! Expensive-ish, but so worth it.) Besides CVS, there's a 7-Eleven in walking distance. Both places are a bit overpriced and I wish there was a closer grocery store, but that's not Holiday Royale's fault. There's a bus stop in walking distance (a few actually) that will get you to most other places you need to go. $5 for 24 hours is a bargain for me, because where I come from, you have to pay $2.50 every time you get on, and it only lasts for like 4 hours. Other amenities include: multiple laundry rooms, soda machines, pool, computers with printers in the office, outdoor seating with ashtrays for smokers, dog walking areas, lots of dumpsters so you never have to go to far to dump trash, and well, I don't know what else to tell you. I've been here for 2 years +, and I'm basically ecstatic with my whole experience staying here. I would highly recommend it for anyone staying here for a night, or forever. Friendly neighbors, and regularly quiet area, too. (Usually when it's loud it has to do with the businesses nearby, and not the complex itself) Come stay at Holiday Royale next time you're in Vegas and see for yourself! Oh, and if you're going to stay here for a while, make sure you get a kitchen with a stove. That's my only regret, though my mini fridge and microwave have served me well over the years! (along with my recent acquisitions of George Foreman Grill and rice cooker) Everyday here feels like a holiday, baby!!! And they will treat you like royalty!!! Okay, enough of my antics. I'm going to Teriyaki Madness. You want anything? P.S. (If you're from France, or a Pulp Fiction fan, don't be confused. They don't serve quarter pounders with cheese here, but that would be awesome.)
