First impression review..
This is my first time ice skating ever so I can't compare to other places or other experiences, but here are some of my thoughts :
- Line to get in was pretty organized, like the online option to sign the waiver for a quicker entrance in.
- $20 is pricey but then again there's no time limit and they're open pretty late.
- Small rink, making it a bit crowded.
- The ice was a little weird to me - uneven may be the word to describe it. Experienced friends said there are better ice in rinks around town.
- Like that it's outdoors, but I would hate doing that on a SUPER cold night.
- The fake snow, aka soap snow, got annoying when a lot of it got on your face. But was a nice touch to the experience.
- The skates definitely hurt my feet, even after adjusting them.
- Like that they offer helmets and assistants for the kiddos!
And lastly, may I add falling sucks.. Especially if you were doing so good in not falling and then all of the sudden a little kid decides to fall on you from the back. Therefore losing your balance and fall on your butt on the icey, cold rink!
It was fun though! :D
