What a great place! First of all, it's beautiful. Probably the most beautiful grocery store I've ever been to. Located in an old bank, the store takes full advantage of the gorgeous dome above the central area. There is a very large prepared food area on the first floor. I had a chicken wrap, one of my friends had sushi and another had a sandwich. The food was very good and well priced. There is plenty of places to sit and enjoy your foods.
The second level has a self-service wine bar and a beer bar. We didn't spend much time on the second level but it looked like a fun place.
I guess I should talk about the groceries since this is a grocery store! There is a small section with groceries. Not a huge selection but it looked like there was pretty much everything you would need. The prices looked fine. I've always thought Heinen's was a little on the high side and the prices in this location seem about in line with their other stores. That being said, if I lived downtown I would love to have a grocery store like this nearby. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for the convenience of shopping downtown.
